It's taken me a few years to find a sunscreen that works. I mean I have tried nearly every brand recommendation I’ve seen on instagram and ones that have been recommended by beauty experts but they have all fallen short in one way or the other. By fail I mean, heavy on application, greasy and the dreaded white marks on dark skin.
Fast forward to a time after many trials, a good friend of mine heard my cry for help and suggested that I try the La Roche-Posay and to be honest at first I thought why so pricey? But I was desperate so I grabbed the anti-shine mist spray to try it and over a year later I’m still absolutely loving it!
For reference, here’s what I got;
50spf anti-shine spray
Its super light, non-irritating and I absolutely love that its easy to spray and its just perfect under or on top of my makeup. The high factor 50+ was also a huge selling point for me because it means its giving me the maximum protection from UVB and skin ageing UVA rays. I was worried about it leaving white marks on my dark skin but I am happy to report that it does not in anyway do that and I absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a really good SPF to try.

50+ Invinsible Spray
This boasts of being very water, sweat and sand resistant. It also doesn’t leave white marks and can be applied on the face. It is slightly thicker than the face spray but it does not feel greasy or heavy on the skin. In terms of price point, it's steeper than the spay and so you might just get away with having the one for both face and body. I personally love the feel of the face spray and so I tend to use this one on my body only but it is of course down to personal preference.

Have you tried these SPF’s by LA Roche-Posay and how many stars would you give them? If you haven’t yet and have been considering them for a while, this is definitely your cue to add to cart. I’m keen to hear your thoughts on them too!
